The Goddard School Receives Highest FUND® Score Among Early Childhood Education Providers
The Goddard School®, the nation’s leading premium early childhood education provider, has received an industry-leading FUND® Score of 930. With a FUND Score of 930, The Goddard School ranks high in the franchise system and franchisor performance categories evaluated, which are key indicators of a healthy franchise system. For franchise systems with high scores, lenders are inclined to offer better lending terms to franchisees.
“Along with our recent recognition in the Franchise Times Top 500® and Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500®, as well as the opening of our 600th location, our high FUND Score is just one of many highlights for The Goddard School this year,” said Kevin Brickner, vice president of franchise sales, Goddard Systems, LLC, the manager of The Goddard School franchise system. “As Goddard’s proven franchise model continues to support its franchisees with best-in-class operating standards, marketing and training, innovative educational programing and more, our FUND Score is further testament to the unparalleled franchising opportunity we offer.”
Using 13 quantitative and qualitative credit risk factors, the FUND Score is used by banks to help determine their willingness to make loans to a particular brand and, if so, to help structure and individually price loans. The resulting score informs a lender of the likelihood that borrowers in a specific franchise system will meet the loan agreement terms.
Since beginning its franchising journey in 1988, The Goddard School continues to be the leading premium childcare and early childhood education provider in the U.S. and one of the nation’s strongest franchise systems. In addition to its nationally acclaimed early childhood education programing, The Goddard School is recognized for its outstanding performance in areas including unit growth, brand power, financial strength and stability.
