Goddard Systems, LLC, the manager of The Goddard School franchise system, the nation’s leading premium early childhood education provider, proudly presents the 2023 Goddard School Director of the Year award to Nadia Marynovych, director of The Goddard School of Westport, CT.
The Director of the Year is a franchisee-nominated award that recognizes a director for excellence in educational and operational leadership. It honors a director who has been with Goddard for at least two years and who embraces and engages with all education initiatives and implements them with fidelity in their school. They serve as a peer mentor, continuously seek opportunities for themselves and their team, foster a positive culture within their school and actively collaborate within their own market and the broader Goddard School system.
“It is my honor to present the 2023 Goddard School Director of the Year award to Nadia Marynovych from Westport, CT,” said Dennis R. Maple, chairman and CEO of Goddard Systems. “Directors truly are the backbones of their school communities, supporting franchisees, faculty and families and nurturing the extraordinary in every child. I congratulate and thank not just Nadia, but all of the phenomenal directors at each of the more than 600 Goddard Schools across the country.”
Marynovych has been The Goddard School of Westport’s director since the school opened in 2019. She is a natural leader who is dedicated to creating the safest and most nurturing environment for the children in her care, supporting them as they grow and develop academically, socially and emotionally. She also emphasizes fostering a positive school culture and developing relationships with families. As a result, parents are exceptionally satisfied with their experience, as illustrated by the school’s 94 net promoter score (NPS). Her ability to balance both educational and business needs directly impacted the school's entrance into Goddard’s Circle of Excellence, which honors the top-performing Goddard Schools nationwide, this year.
Moreover, Marynovych is committed to developing the school’s faculty and focuses on creating opportunities to play to their strengths, stretch their abilities and grow in their craft. Kristen Bodenstein, owner of The Goddard School of Westport, added: “Nadia consistently executes Goddard standards and initiatives, and holds teachers and staff to the highest standards, while maintaining a culture of support, professionalism and fairness.”
